The Supervisor, Care Center will oversee the day-to-day operations of the identified Outpatient Care Center location. The incumbent will regularly serve as a backup for Behavioral Psychology Care Center activities and facilitate/monitor daily operations of the Behavioral Psychology Outpatient Care Center. This staff member will also supervise other Care Center staff and possess a full operational understanding of clinics, providers, services, insurance clearances, scheduling and patient accounting issues. The incumbent will interact with patients, families, clinicians, and administrative staff in a courteous and professional manner.
The Supervisor, Patient Services supervises all aspects of Clinical Assistant performance, intentionally conducts regular meetings with staff to foster active employee engagement, to encourage professional development and to problem solve matters based on individual circumstances. Provides unit leadership, consistently applies unit standards and policies, and works collaboratively with other members of the NBU to ensure successful program implementation.
The Supervisor, Patient Services (Feeding) will provide supervision of Recreational Activities Staff, administrative leadership and coordination to program projects and goals, and will also provide developmentally appropriate play activities for children between feeding therapy sessions; parent training in behavioral management strategies throughout a patient’s admission; and direct and train playroom staff in the care of patients in the Feeding Program. This individual will participate in strategic planning, development, and implementation of program objectives.
