The Clinical Director, Psychiatric Mental Health Program (PMHP) will work collaboratively with the Medical Director to provide clinical, administrative, and academic leadership with a focus of evidence based practice within the Psychiatric Mental Health Program (PMHP), ensure programmatic quality and safety, and bear primary responsibility for the quality and safety of psychotherapeutic services delivered. This professional will develop and implement a culture of measurement-based care and evidence-based psychotherapeutic practice, and will ensure proper therapist training, supervision, and ongoing fidelity to the delivery of state-of-the-art psychotherapeutic treatments for common pediatric mental problems and disorders. The incumbent will work collaboratively with the Medical Director and disciplinary leaders in Social Work, Psychology, and Nursing to build subspecialized interdisciplinary clinical teams and assign clinical cases, monitor clinical productivity, optimize clinician application of the electronic medical record, and ensure proper documentation and billing practices in keeping with expected ethical, regulatory, and practice standards.

The Faculty (Associate Professor) - Psychologist II will provide neuropsychological assessments and, as needed, psychological consultation and intervention services to individuals served by the Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD). The incumbent will participate in the training of predoctoral externs, doctoral interns, and postdoctoral residents; initiate and participate in innovative programs; design and conduct formal courses and workshops; and participate in research activities. Primary clinical responsibilities will be for individuals ages 1 year through young adult; although services may be provided to individuals from birth throughout the lifespan.
The Neuropsychologist I (Bilingual-Spanish), will provide neuropsychological assessments and, as needed, consultation and psychological treatment services to clients served by the Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD). Primary clinical responsibilities will be for patients ages 2 years through young adult. This position requires the incumbent to be bilingual in English and Spanish with a proficiency level that meets the Institutes minimum standards.

The Neuropsychologist III (Neuropsychologist Manager) will provide neuropsychological assessments as needed, psychological consultation and intervention services to individuals served by the Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD). This position will teach and provide direct supervision to psychology associates and staff psychologists (and trainees as needed) providing clinical services; initiate and participate in innovative programs; and design and conduct formal courses and workshops. Primary clinical responsibilities will be for individuals ages 3 years through young adult; although services may be provided to individuals from birth throughout the lifespan.
The Psychologist I provides psychotherapy and clinical assessment in the Center for Child and Family Traumatic Stress (CCFTS) treatment program. These children are primarily those who have experienced or may be at risk for trauma through physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, domestic and community violence. The Psychologist I will assess these children along a continuum of screenings to full psychological evaluations. These are formal evaluations requiring psychometrically sound instruments, in addition to clinical interviewing. Assessment areas include emotional, cognitive, achievement, and developmental functioning of referred children. This position requires the ability to address the needs of this population. The Doctoral Level Psychologist may also participate in training, research or other projects at the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.
The Psychologist I will provide psychotherapy for children and adolescents served through the Psychiatric Mental Health Program in close coordination with The Tourette Syndrome Center of Excellence at Kennedy Krieger Institute and Johns Hopkins Medicine (TCOE). The psychologist will implement Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) with patients referred through the TCOE as well as other referred patients. The psychologist will maintain a clinical caseload including individual and family psychotherapy, diagnostic assessments, parent training, and, counseling in child development and behavior management. The Psychologist assists parents or caregivers in advocating for their children’s needs in the community. Primary clinical responsibilities will be for individuals aged 5 years through young adulthood.

The Psychologist I will provide psychological treatment services and/or psychodiagnostic assessments for outpatient clients at the Center for Autism & Related Disorders (CARD). The Psychologist I will also provide training to parents, paraprofessionals and professionals. Primary clinical responsibilities will be for patients aged 2 through young adult.
**Position will be full time at the Patuxent location or split between the Patuxent and Greenspring locations. The new Center for Autism and Related Disorders Columbia location is located at 9800 Patuxent Woods, Columbia, MD.
