This position is 36 hours per week, three 12 hour shifts, preferred night shifts (7pm-7:30am).
The Clinical Nurse II (RN) for Inpatient programs is a clinical competent clinical RN who assists in directing nursing personnel to meet the goals and objectives of the Nursing Department and the Institute, while providing care in accordance with the needs of the population served. The Clinical Nurse II (RN) meets standards for professional practice specified in the Maryland Nurse Practice Act. Practice is characterized by a balance of dependent and interdependent decision making.
The Pediatric Rehabilitation/Feeding Unit provides 24-hour medical, nursing, respiratory and intensive therapy services.
The Neurorehabilitation program treats patients ranging from infants to young adults with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, chronic pain disorders, recovering from orthopedic surgery, and complex medical conditions.

This is a weekend option position. The nurse will work every Saturday and Sunday from 7:00am-7:30pm for a total of 24 hours, but will be paid for 32 hours per week. The nurse will work on the NBU. The Neurobehavioral Unit (NBU) is a unique, 16- bed unit dedicated to the assessment and treatment of children and young adults with severe, treatment-resistant behavioral disorders. The NBU serves patients with a variety of diagnoses, including: autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay, intellectual disability, sleep disorders, seizure disorders, feeding disorders, stereotypic movement disorder with self-injurious behavior, and various genetic, metabolic and chromosomal disorders. The NBU has served patients from across the country and around the world, offering a specialized integrated and targeted application of behavioral and pharmacological interventions.

The Outpatient Nurse Coordinator for Rehabilitation Clinic provides direct patient care, patient/family education, organization, and coordination of the patient’s care through the health care continuum. The Outpatient Nurse Coordinator participates as an interdisciplinary team member of the outpatient medical clinics.
This nurse will work for the Rehabilitation clinic. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm
and Thursday from 9:00am-5:30pm.
The Outpatient Nurse Coordinator provides direct patient care, patient/family education, organization, and coordination of the patient’s care through the health care continuum. The Outpatient Nurse Coordinator participates as an interdisciplinary team member of the outpatient medical clinics.
This nurse will work in the Orthopedic Clinic. The position is full-time, 32 hours per week working. Weeks 1, 2, 4 and 5: Monday: 7am-330pm Tuesday: 7am-200pm
Wednesday: 7am-5pm Thursday: 7a-330pm Week 3: Tuesday: 7am-330pm Wednesday: 7am-5pm Thursday: 7a-330pm Friday: 7am-200pm

The Nurse Graduate-Inpatient will have successfully completed an accredited registered nurse education program recognized by Maryland Board of Nursing and meet all eligibility requirements for the NCLEX-RN examination.
