We are offering competitive salaries and benefits, apply now to join our team!     The Assistant Teacher I- Float will support the teachers who serve a varied population of students with typical and neuro-diverse abilities in the Integrated Early Learning Center. The incumbent assists with the implementation of the program as outlined and with adapting instruction that meets the individual academic, medical, developmental, and technological needs of the students.    

The Child Care Aide I works under the immediate direction of the Child Care Teacher in the child care center providing child care and completing related tasks.    The Child Care Aide I functions as a team member in providing total care of the children enrolled at World of Care.

The Child Care Teacher I is responsible for providing care for all aspects of their assigned age group and works as a team leader when the Child Care Teacher II is unavailable by supervising the implementation of the daily curriculum to assure that all accreditation and state licensing standards are being met. The Child Care Teacher I  is responsible for ensuring that all parent, child and classroom staff concerns are appropriately addressed.   This positions works Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM depending upon the needs of the center.   PACT’s World of Care specialized child care center is designed to meet the individual needs of children who have medical conditions requiring daily nursing care and children with developmental disabilities who require multiple therapies (physical, occupational, or speech/language).   While we accept typically developing children, priority for admission is given to children who are medically fragile or developmentally delayed or disabled.   World of Care is accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education and licensed by the Maryland Office of Child Care Administration.

The Child Development Teacher will be primarily responsible for teaching and providing high quality childcare while parents engage in meaningful activities at the Early Head Start (EHS) center. This staff member will plan and present accurate and engaging lessons to enrolled children. The position is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable childcare space that is conducive to quality parent/child interactions and exceptional educational experiences.

We are offering competitive salaries and benefits, apply now to join our team!     The Special Education Teacher will teach students with typical and atypical development in a full day, year round inclusive classroom setting. The incumbent demonstrates understanding of and commitment to the Kennedy Krieger Institute mission, helping students achieve their potential and participate as fully as possible in family, school and community life while striving to excel in providing safe and effective care of the highest quality.

The Pre-Kindergarten Teacher will use evidence-based treatment methods for preschoolers at heightened risk for or diagnosed with developmental delays. This staff member will provide on-site early childhood developmental enrichment/education and interventions to enrolled children. Instruction will be differentiated to learner needs, and aligned with the curriculum. The incumbent will lead in the implementation of all educational plans, monitor student progress, provide behavior support and manage the classroom to include training of caregivers/assistants and complete regulatory forms as required by funding agencies.   *This is a year round, 12 month program.  The hours are 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday.
