The Assistant Teacher I will support the teachers who serve a varied population of students in the Kennedy Krieger Schools. The incumbent assists with the implementation of the program as outlined in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) of each student and with adapting instruction that meets the individual academic, medical, developmental, and technological needs of the students.   At the Lifeskills and Education for Students with Autism and Pervasive Behavioral Challenges ( LEAP ) Program, our mission is to ensure each of our students gains the independence and skills necessary to fully participate in school, community, workplace, and home life.
