The Pediatric Neurologist will address the four major functions of the Institute: (1) patient care (2) staff teaching (3) research, and (4) administration, which will be guided by the goals and objectives of the of the Neurology and Developmental Medicine Department at Kennedy Krieger Institute. You will be responsible for providing care to children, adolescents, and adults with neurodevelopmental, musculoskeletal, and related disorders.  This responsibility includes, but is not limited to, providing care within the neurology and developmental medicine programs at any of our locations.  It is anticipated this may include further developing our continuum of patient care services at Johns Hopkins University Hospital inpatient and outpatient settings.   Qualifications: - Board-eligible/certified in Neurology. - Experience in clinical neurophysiology preferred.

The Physical Therapist I (PT I) will perform evaluation and subsequent planning, execution, delegation, and supervision of treatment programs for persons with acquired or developmental disabilities. The PT I will participate in intra-disciplinary and interdisciplinary training programs. The PT I will provide patient care, supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and rehabilitation technicians, and maintain appropriate patient records consistent with KKI policies and procedures and in accordance with Laws and Regulations of the Board of Physical Therapy Examiners of Maryland.

This is a research/clinical position. Experience with clinical care and research with individuals with Muscular Dystrophy with clinical trial experience is preferred. The Physical Therapist II will perform clinical research study assessments and documentation in accordance with the study protocol. The Physical Therapist II will perform evaluation, planning, treatment, maintain appropriate documentation, and execution of clinical care duties of individuals with muscular dystrophy, genetic, and other neuromuscular disorders in pediatrics and adults. The Physical Therapist II will participate in intradisciplinary and interdisciplinary training programs for affiliating staff, students, and other community agencies. The Physical Therapist II may provide clinical supervision of physical therapy students, physical therapy assistants, and physical therapy aides.

  SATURDAY INPATIENT POSITION   The Physical Therapist II will perform evaluation and subsequent planning, execution, and supervision of therapy programs for persons with neuromotor dysfunction.  The Physical Therapist II participates in intradisciplinary and interdisciplinary training programs for affiliating students, staff, and community agencies and may provide clinical supervision of physical therapy students, physical therapist assistants and physical therapy aides; and maintains appropriate patient records. We will consider New Graduates as well!  

The Physician Assistant collaborates with a multidisciplinary health team to deliver direct comprehensive care services and education to both well and ill patients. Under the direction of the Physician, the incumbent practices within the guidelines of the department, the Institute, and in accordance with the State of Maryland physician assistant regulations. This position is granted specified professional staff privileges by the Kennedy Krieger Institute Medical Board that are reviewed annually.
