The Pediatric Neurologist will address the four major functions of the Institute: (1) patient care (2) staff teaching (3) research, and (4) administration, which will be guided by the goals and objectives of the of the Neurology and Developmental Medicine Department at Kennedy Krieger Institute. You will be responsible for providing care to children, adolescents, and adults with neurodevelopmental, musculoskeletal, and related disorders.  This responsibility includes, but is not limited to, providing care within the neurology and developmental medicine programs at any of our locations.  It is anticipated this may include further developing our continuum of patient care services at Johns Hopkins University Hospital inpatient and outpatient settings.   Qualifications: - Board-eligible/certified in Neurology. - Experience in clinical neurophysiology preferred.

Pediatric Physiatrist Kennedy Krieger Institute Baltimore, MD   The Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, Maryland is searching for a talented Pediatric Physiatrist for our growing rehabilitation programs.  We are seeking a board eligible and/or certified physician to provide medical care to children, adolescents, and young adults with a variety of diagnoses and impairments. We are excited that our pediatric rehabilitation program, as part of the Johns Hopkins Rehabilitation Network, is in a period of growth and reorganization. We are looking for creative and flexible team members with interest in identifying their passion and contributing to program development.  We anticipate that the Pediatric Physiatrist will have the opportunity to work in a variety of clinics and practice settings and will help develop new programs and systems of care within the Kennedy Krieger and Johns Hopkins Medicine systems. The Pediatric Physiatrist will work closely with a variety of professionals to enhance the care and lives of individuals with apparent and non-apparent disabilities.  In addition to direct patient care and teaching medical trainees, responsibilities include coordination with other disciplines at Kennedy Krieger Institute, including speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, neuropsychologists, behavioral psychologists, child psychiatrists, and social workers to ensure that each patient is comprehensively evaluated and receives the most appropriate treatment. The Institute’s academic environment also provides many opportunities for participation in clinical research and adaptive sports and recreational activities. Qualified applicants will be eligible for faculty appointment at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine as an Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or full Professor, depending upon qualifications.  Opportunities for promotion exist on Clinical Excellence and Scholarship pathways.
