The Recreational Activities Staff I is responsible for assisting with the implementation of therapeutic and recreational activities for Neurobehavioral Unit (NBU) inpatients and assisting with the implementation of research protocols on the NBU.
The Recreational Activities Staff II maintains the overall therapeutic milieu for patients in CL/TR activity programs. The Recreational Activities Staff work predominantly in the evenings and weekends, planning and facilitating social recreational activities for the inpatient population, which support their psychosocial and developmental needs

The Rehabilitation Technician will transfer and transport patients and provide patient care under direct supervision of a clinician within the policies and procedures of KKI and the departmental program and in accordance with Laws and Regulations of the State of Maryland. The Rehabilitation Technician will assist clinical staff in the provision of patient care programs and perform supportive tasks, including those serving the administrative, maintenance and operational needs of the program. The Rehabilitation Technician will be proficient in at least one area of concentration, which is meaningful and of value to the department.
The Research Assistant I will assist with a wide variety of research activities occurring in the Pediatric Neuropsychiatry Center.
The Research Assistant I will conduct rehabilitation research, data collection, analysis, and interpretation for various research studies and grants. This position focuses on pediatric brain injury, under the direction of the Director of Rehabilitation Neuropsychology.
The Research Assistant II will collect, organize, and maintain research data; assist with preparing data for analysis for research projects; coordinate with program staff to recruit subjects for research protocols; and provide clinical interventions under supervision per research protocols.
The Scheduling Coordinator I (Bilingual–Spanish) will schedule new and follow-up patient appointments and perform a wide variety of administrative and front-end clinical operations activities which include, but are not limited to, greeting and checking in/out patients and families; collecting patient and treatment information; estimating deposit requirements; providing cost estimates; determining patient liability; establishing payment arrangements; and coordinating payment arrangement information for outpatient and day programs with non-par payer sources.
