We are interviewing Social Workers (LCSW-C), to work with pediatric and adult patients and families in our Spina Bifida Program. Patients receive initial evaluations and follow-up services from collaborating professionals. Social workers focus on psychosocial aspects of treatment of the whole patient. Social work services include assessment and interventions, coordination of care, resource finding and linkage, supporting the patient and family in understanding and adjusting to team recommendations and providing risk assessments/safety plans to patients that screen positive on a suicide screening. Patients and families seen in medical clinics may also be referred for counseling and mental health services.

The Clinical Social Worker I is responsible for providing screening, intake assessment and care plan development, case management services, and short-term counseling for families served by the World of Care (WOC) daycare program at PACT. This staff member will facilitate interdisciplinary team meetings, plan/host family engagement activities, and assist with Family Studies internship experiences.

The Kennedy Krieger Social Work Department is looking for a LCSW-C or LMSW social worker ready to join the Pediatric Rehabilitation Program. This dynamic interdisciplinary team collaborates to deliver trauma-informed clinical services to the children, adolescents, and young adults admitted to the inpatient unit.
Our social workers guide families through the journey of admission by completing psychosocial assessments, leading family-team meetings, providing short-term family counseling, advocacy, coordination of care and discharge planning.

The Clinical Social Worker I in the Specialized Transition Program provides clinical care to children, adolescents, adults, and families, including mental health and medically-focused psychosocial evaluations, therapeutic interventions, and coordination of care in an intensive day rehabilitation setting. The incumbent participates on client & family centered interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams reflecting strengths and needs of the client consistent with the values and principles of the practice of social work, and may be involved in training activities, outreach, and research as a member of interdisciplinary programs with opportunities in both the Social Work and the Fairmount Rehabilitation departments. This position provides primarily in-person treatments with some opportunities for telehealth.

He/she may assist in reviewing and evaluating clinical social work services and may assist in developing training materials and curricula for in-service and community-based training. This position provides both clinical and administrative supervision to social workers and graduate social work interns.
