The Clinical Specialist I will provide on-site clinical services for Behavioral Psychology Department patients based on principles of applied behavior analysis to reduce child problem behaviors and increase adaptive skills. Provide parent, teacher and staff training and monitor the effectiveness and implementation of behavioral protocols in community settings.
The swim coach will develop and implement swimming programs for a wide range of physically challenged participants including ambulatory and wheelchair athletes.
This is a part time position with varied hours such as Wednesday 4:00am -6:00am Saturday 9:00am to 12:00 noon
The Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Specialist (CIA Specialist) provides direct and indirect curriculum, instruction, and assessment services to students. The CIA Specialist works collaboratively with academic staff to assess students' instructional strengths and needs to provide appropriate curriculum, instruction and assessment, which align with students' Individual Educational Programs (IEP) and with federal, state, and regional standards. CIA Specialists further support student learning by providing training, mentoring, and technical assistance regarding evidenced-based intervention to academic staff.
The CIA Specialist provides support to the school Administration by participating in all appropriate school and department level meetings as required.
Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician
The Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, MD is searching for a board eligible and/or certified Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician as faculty in the Center for Development and Learning. The Center for Development and Learning provides diagnostic evaluations and management of children and adolescents who have problems in development, language, learning, social skills, attention, or school adjustment. The faculty member will participate in an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary clinical team of professionals that drive the clinical, training, and research missions of the Center. Responsibilities, in addition to direct patient care and teaching medical trainees, are coordination with other disciplines at Kennedy Krieger Institute, including speech and language pathologists, neuropsychologists, behavioral psychologists, child psychiatrists, neurogeneticists, genetic counselors, and social workers to ensure that each patient receives an individualized and comprehensive evaluation and recommendations for appropriate monitoring and treatment.
Qualified applicants will be eligible for faculty appointment at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine as an Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or full Professor, depending upon qualifications.

The Direct Support Professional will be responsible for providing direct training and support for individuals in the areas of personal supports, community engagement, and job-related skills. This staff member will spend the majority of their day providing support in the community to foster independence to individuals with disabilities in the areas of employment, volunteer opportunities, life and leisure. This position willrequire travel in and around the greater Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area.
The Director, Facilities Operations is responsible for preventative maintenance, capital renewal, and capital improvement projects involving existing facilities and infrastructure. This position provides overall life-cycle project management with responsibility to provide expertise, coordination, direction, and oversight on multiple projects simultaneously. This individual will maintain project schedules and budgets and help keep assigned projects on track by making recommendations to the Assistant Vice President on technical matters, deviations, alternate methods, procedures, planning, efficiency, and economy. The incumbent will work under the guidance of the Assistant Vice President of Facilities Planning and Engineering to plan and maintain Institute efficiency and compliance.
The Director of Speech-Language Pathology is responsible for the operation of clinical, administrative, training and research, and program development activities for the Center for Autism Services, Science and Innovation (CASSI™, formerly known as the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, or CARD) and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Outpatient Clinics and Achievements programs. The incumbent will work with the CASSI SLP managers to maintain responsibility for daily operations, implementing, coordinating and supervising the clinical service aspects of the department’s SLP Outpatient Clinics and Achievements programs across all locations. The incumbent will coordinate with the managers and senior SLP staff in establishing and implementing CASSI™ SLP program policies, procedures, standards, and goals; consult and act as a liaison within CASSI™ and externally. This position will collaborate and coordinate with the Speech-Language Pathology discipline director related to leveraging knowledge across the Institute. The incumbent will provide direct patient care by assessing and treating children with communication (i.e., speech/language) and oral motor disorders.
The Director, Early Childhood Education Performance is responsible for overseeing the alignment and implementation of policy, practice, data-collection, and funded deliverables for all early development and education staff across all PACT early childhood education settings that provide services to under-served children ages birth to five years of age with typical and atypical development.
The incumbent will be a subject matter expert on the development and implementation of conducting and translating research into evidence-based-practices, developmentally appropriate practices for both typical and atypical development, curriculum development and implementation, specialized instruction (including accommodations, adaptations, and universal design), and implementation of ongoing quality improvement methods and models across early education settings. This position will then develop and deliver trainings and provide coaching regarding areas of subject matter expertise to staff with a variety of backgrounds and experiences. The incumbent directly supervises a team and indirectly collaborates with the education, clinical, administration, research and support staff throughout the programs and across multiple settings and sites.
The Director of Planned Giving manages the Planned Giving Program. This position is responsible for seeking out opportunities and developing and implementing initiatives to identify, cultivate and solicit prospects to ensure a strong base of ongoing financial support. This position is also responsible for, managing, growing, and strategically marketing the institute’s planned giving program. Will cultivate, solicit and steward planned giving prospects and maintain a portfolio of qualified prospects throughout the United States and internationally. Supervises the administration of the Planned Giving program to include but not limited to website design; maintenance and upgrade approvals; Planned Giving Advisory Council meetings and events; mailings; and publications. Responsible for the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of a defined and qualified donor pool which includes planned giving and major giving prospects. Responsible for ensuring that donors are thanked appropriately and for working with Finance to ensure all instruments are understood and approved.
