Overview
The Neurobehavioral Unit (NBU) is a unique, 16- bed unit dedicated to the assessment and treatment of children and young adults with severe, treatment-resistant behavioral disorders. The NBU serves patients with a variety of diagnoses, including: autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay, intellectual disability, sleep disorders, seizure disorders, feeding disorders, stereotypic movement disorder with self-injurious behavior, and various genetic, metabolic and chromosomal disorders. The NBU has served patients from across the country and around the world, offering a specialized integrated and targeted application of behavioral and pharmacological interventions.
The Clinical Services Coordinator I provides support related to patient services in assigned area. Majority of work product is directly related to the delivery of patient services and is focused on providing day-to-day physician and clinic support to meet the needs of the program, clinic and patients served. Work activities are focused on gathering, maintaining, coordinating and exchanging health information related to the ongoing care and treatment of patient served in the clinic, program or department.
