The Neurobehavioral Unit (NBU) is a unique, 16- bed unit dedicated to the assessment and treatment of children and young adults with severe, treatment-resistant behavioral disorders. The NBU serves patients with a variety of diagnoses, including: autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay, intellectual disability, sleep disorders, seizure disorders, feeding disorders, stereotypic movement disorder with self-injurious behavior, and various genetic, metabolic and chromosomal disorders. The NBU has served patients from across the country and around the world, offering a specialized integrated and targeted application of behavioral and pharmacological interventions.
This position is 36 hours per week, three 12 hour shifts, Day(7:00am-7:30pm)/ Late Day (11:00am-11:30pm)/ Night (7:00pm-7:30am) rotation

This position is 40 hours per week, working Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm in the Outpatient Clinics, Schools and Specialized Transition Program.
The Rehabilitation Technician will transfer and transport patients and provide patient care under direct supervision of a clinician within the policies and procedures of KKI and the departmental program and in accordance with Laws and Regulations of the State of Maryland. The Rehabilitation Technician will assist clinical staff in the provision of patient care programs and perform supportive tasks, including those serving the administrative, maintenance and operational needs of the program. The Rehabilitation Technician will be proficient in at least one area of concentration, which is meaningful and of value to the department.

The Research Assistant in the Comi Lab will perform maintenance and differentiation of cell lines, assist with maintenance of a mouse colony, and carry out routine laboratory experiment.
TheResearch Assistant II will conduct rehabilitation research, data collection, analysis, and interpretation for various research studies and grants. This position focuses on pediatric brain injury, under the direction of the Director of Rehabilitation Neuropsychology. This position will work with English and Spanish-speaking populations. Appropriate language skills at a proficiency level that meets the Institutes minimum standards is highly preferred.

The Research Coordinator assists with implementing and assessing therapeutic mindfulness and movement based interventions, as well as other various ongoing pediatric studies, for the Center for Neurodevelopmental and Imaging Research (CNIR). This position coordinates work efforts with local research and administrative partners in the Baltimore area. The Research Coordinator will support CNIR staff with implementing ongoing research procedure development by coordinating instructions for children and parents enrolled in CNIR research protocols. The Research Coordinator will perform administrative functions for ongoing pediatric studies including creating and maintaining study protocol and IRB documentation, assisting with research participant recruitment and scheduling, and collecting, coding, and archiving data.
The Research Coordinator in the Clinical Trials Unit assists and collaborates with the Principle Investigator (PI) and research collaborators to reach research goals. This position requires a degree of responsibility, flexibility, and independence to perform diverse duties including collecting, analyzing, and archiving data.
The Research Coordinator will provide support, under the direction of faculty, for funded research projects for neuroimaging
The Scheduling Coordinator I will be responsible for all Patient Services Specialists’ duties and scheduling patient appointments, collecting patient and treatment information, communicating cost estimates, which includes patient liability along with helping to establish and coordinate payment arrangements.
