The Instructional Assistant I will perform duties that are instructional in nature and will deliver services to students in a classroom setting under daily direction of an early intervention teacher. This staff member will interact daily with children, encourage language, social, and self-regulatory development. The incumbent will collect progress and treatment response data; organize the classroom; prepare teaching materials; and assist with parent communication and training.
The Rehabilitation Aide will transfer and transport patients and provide patient care under direct supervision of a licensed clinician within the policies and procedures of the Institute and the departmental program, and in accordance with Laws and Regulations of the State of Maryland.
