The Clinical Social Worker III is a primary therapist to children and adolescents with mental health conditions and their families and/or foster families. The social worker is an active advocate for clients in the community for implementing a comprehensive service plan for the child and his/her caretakers. He/she may assist in reviewing and evaluating clinical social work services and may assist in developing training materials and curricula for in-service and community-based training. This position provides both clinical and administrative supervision to social workers and graduate social work interns.

The Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor is a primary therapist to children and families who have been exposed to abuse, neglect and violence.
The Kennedy Krieger Social Work Department is looking for a LCSW-C or LMSW social worker ready to join the Pediatric Rehabilitation Program. This dynamic interdisciplinary team collaborates to deliver trauma-informed clinical services to the children, adolescents, and young adults admitted to the inpatient unit.
Our social workers guide families through the journey of admission by completing psychosocial assessments, leading family-team meetings, providing short-term family counseling, advocacy, coordination of care and discharge planning.

The incumbent provides services utilizing evidence-based/informed treatment models that are best suited to the needs of the patient/family, and coordinates care with multi-disciplinary teams focused on the strengths and effective treatment individualized for the patient and family. The incumbent may be involved in training activities, outreach, and research as members of interdisciplinary programs and the department.

The PsychiatricClinical Social Worker II provides clinical care to children, adolescents, adults, and families, including evaluation, treatment planning, and treatment of mental health conditions. The incumbent provides services utilizing evidence-based/informed treatment models that are best suited to the needs of the patient/family, and coordinates care with multi-disciplinary teams focused on the strengths and effective treatment individualized for the patient and family. The incumbent acts as a role model for junior staff and trainees, and may participate in training of evidence-based/informed models, have increased administrative responsibilities, and participate in outreach and research.

The Social WorkerII provides clinical care to children, adolescents, adults, and families. This includes mental health and medically-focused psychosocial evaluations; therapeutic interventions; and coordination of care under supervision of a board registered supervisor. The Social Worker II participates on client & family centered interdisciplinary teams reflecting strengths and needs of the client consistent with the values and principles of the practice of social work. The Social Worker II may be involved in training activities, outreach, and research as members of interdisciplinary programs and the department.This position requires flexibility in scheduling to accommodate after-school, and some early evening appointments.
