The Behavior Analyst works in coordination with classroom, Mental Health/Clinical, and Related Services staff to provide Behavioral Services to students. Under the supervision of the Manager of Behavioral Services, Dean of Students, Director of Psychological and Behavioral Services, or Educational Director, the Behavior Analyst will serve as case manager for the behavioral programming of individual students.
A primary responsibility is the development and implementation of Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIP). The Behavior Analyst will facilitate and document the development of the BIP as well as conduct and document Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and provide staff training. This staff member will also monitor the efficacy of the BIP through data collection and graphing.
Additional responsibilities include the development and implementation of crisis management procedures and the provision of behavioral support in the classroom. As assigned, the Behavior Analyst may also provide support and guidance to Therapeutic Behavioral Aide (TBA) staff as well as other Behavioral Services personnel. Fieldwork supervision may be provided to individuals seeking BCBA supervision as indicated.

We are a nonpublic special education day program approved by the Maryland State Department of Education. We operate on an 11-month program schedule.
The Behavior Data Specialist will organize and maintain data collection and statistical analysis systems for the program; assist with behavioral assessments and program implementation; assist with research activities and staff/parent training; assume Clinical Specialist I duties in the temporary absence of such staff.

The Behavior Team Associate works with diverse populations of individuals including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, participating as a team member that assists in the assessment and treatment of severe problem behavior or feeding disorders guided by behavior analytic principles. The incumbent will participate in the process under the supervision of a faculty-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D), Licensed Psychologist, and/or BCBA.

The Clinical Assistant will provide direct care and supervision of patients admitted to the Inpatient Neurobehavioral Unit, implement written behavioral and educational protocols, and collect data on patient-specific target behaviors.
The Clinical Assistants work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities admitted to the inpatient NBU for treatment of severe problem behavior.
The Neurobehavioral Unit primarily serves children, adolescents, and young adults up to age 21; however, we periodically admit individuals over the age of 21. Patients have a variety of diagnoses, including: autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay, intellectual disability, sleep disorders, feeding disorders, stereotypic movement disorder with self-injurious behavior, and various genetic, metabolic and chromosomal disorders. Patients are admitted for the assessment and treatment of severe behavioral problems.
Common types of behavioral problems treated on the NBU include:
- Self-injurious behavior (SIB)
- Aggression
- Destructive or disruptive behavior

The Clinical Director, CBDH will work to provide clinical, administrative, and academic leadership with a focus on advancing measurement-based, patient and family centered care and evidence-based psychotherapeutic practice within the Center for Developmental Behavioral Health and ensure the quality and safety of services delivered. The incumbent will work collaboratively with the Center’s program directors and disciplinary leaders in Social Work, Psychology, and Nursing to build subspecialized interdisciplinary clinical teams, assign clinical cases, monitor clinical productivity, optimize clinician application of the electronic medical record, and ensure proper documentation and billing practices in keeping with expected ethical, regulatory, and practice standards. The Clinical Specialist I will provide on-site clinical services for Behavioral Psychology Department patients based on principles of applied behavior analysis to reduce child problem behaviors and increase adaptive skills. Provide parent, teacher and staff training and monitor the effectiveness and implementation of behavioral protocols in community settings.
The experienced Electroencephalographic (EEG) Technician Icompletes EEG studies in the inpatient Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) and in the outpatient Sleep Electroencephalographic (EEG) Clinic. This position will perform Continuous Electroencephalographic (cEEG) monitoring; evaluations; and data analysis of patients with seizures. This staff member will edit and archive EEG video data; ensure proper documentation; provide technical assistance; follow protocols; review data; write reports; engage in training; and maintains databases, equipment, the technical environment, and laboratory inventory. The incumbent will also explain procedures to be performed in a manner that is age appropriate and understandable to patients and their family.
Qualified applicants must be enrolled in or have graduated from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Technologist (NDT) program. Qualified applicants must have one (1) year of clinical experience performing EEG technician duties required.

The Executive Assistant will assure/provide necessary administrative support to the Department Director and to the faculty and staff at the Broadway location. The Executive Assistant will monitor the dictation system for the Sr. Vice President of the Behavioral Psychology Department. This employee will also oversee the activities of the department administrative staff to assure faculty needs are being met.
