What You’ll Do

As a Physical Therapist I (PT I), you will:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and individualized treatment planning for patients with acquired and developmental disabilities
  • Deliver hands-on, evidence-based therapy interventions to maximize function and independence
  • Delegate and supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and rehabilitation technicians
  • Collaborate within a dynamic interdisciplinary team to drive patient-centered outcomes
  • Participate in intra- and interdisciplinary training programs and continuous learning
  • Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with KKI policies and Maryland Board regulations

Qualifications

  • CPR certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
  • Eligible for license to practice as a PT in the state of Maryland.
  • Continuing education or certification in Physical Therapy or a related field is preferred.
  • *Individual must demonstrate competence across all age groups due to the diversity of the children and families served by KKI.
  • *Clinical care focus is on the neonate, pediatric, and adolescent populations, as well as some adults with disabilities.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from an accredited undergraduate program for PTs.
  • Graduate degree (M.S. or higher) preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • One year of experience working in a related Physical Therapy practice setting is preferred.
  • Experience working with or treating children or adults with developmental or acquired disabilities is preferred.

Minimum pay range

USD $78,000.00/Yr.

Maximum pay range

USD $106,886.00/Yr.
