The Research Assistant I will assist with a wide variety of research activities occurring in the Pediatric Neuropsychiatry Center.
1. Assist with departmental clinical trial operations, which may include scheduling and conducting study visits in person and/or online.
2. Assist with scoring behavioral questionnaire measures collected during study visits.
3. Create sophisticated clinical and research databases that may be queried to create hypothesis-generating research projects. Compare and compile data points, and prepare preliminary summaries for review.
4. Assist with performing data analyses, identifying trends and relationships for review and further interpretation.
5. Query online databases such as RedCap.
6. Create survey instruments through online platforms such as Qualitrics.
7. Assist with data management, data maintenance, data entry, and data scrubbing.
8. Assist with the completion of research manuscripts to include literature reviews, submissions to conferences, and peer-reviewed publications.
9. Provide administrative support for research manuscript preparation and sophisticated slide preparation for meeting presentations.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in psychology, statistics, or neuroscience.
EXPERIENCE:
Previous related experience preferred.
