Overview

The Supervisor, Care Center will oversee the day-to-day operations of the identified Outpatient Care Center location. The incumbent will regularly serve as a backup for Behavioral Psychology Care Center activities and facilitate/monitor daily operations of the Behavioral Psychology Outpatient Care Center. This staff member will also supervise other Care Center staff and possess a full operational understanding of clinics, providers, services, insurance clearances, scheduling and patient accounting issues. The incumbent will interact with patients, families, clinicians, and administrative staff in a courteous and professional manner.

Responsibilities

1. Monitor and manage all day-to-day operations and workflow for appointed location and assigned Care Center staff.
2. Oversee coverage for the appointed location and manage approvals for leave based on workload and staff availability. Schedule monthly meetings with the Clinical Site Director of the appointed location.
3. Provide direct supervision of Care Center staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
4. Lead regular staff meetings and distribute minutes to staff members post-meeting.
5. Provide back-up administrative support for Care Center Staff.
6. Compile and submit weekly location reports to Manager, Care Center Team.
7. Ensure safe and clean patient environments and staff offices. Communicate with Facilities and Housekeeping directly for services as needed.
8. Schedule and greet visitors. Respond to and direct phone calls. Direct and distribute departmental and/or Institute correspondence according to established procedures.
9. Respond to family, patient, and clinic issues in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree in human services related field or healthcare administration highly desirable.

 

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum five years of experience providing administrative support required, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Minimum pay range

USD $50,148.80/Yr.

Maximum pay range

USD $85,998.22/Yr.
