The Summer Works Staff will work in various departments in the Institute contributing to business operations in a courteous, professional, and responsible manner. Responsibilities may include administrative support, facilities support, research support, educational support, and/or patient care aide dependent on the department in which the individual is working.

1. Process non-patient cash receipts on a daily basis, including researching and identifying appropriate General Ledger coding.
2. Process daily credit card transactions, ensuring proper handling of confidential information.
3. Prepare and enter assigned monthly journal entries, including balance sheet, revenue and expense, and net asset transactions.
4. Accurately classify fixed assets monthly.
5. Collect Finance office mail and distribute it to the appropriate individuals and departments.
6. Assist with monthly accounting schedules by obtaining information from reports and performing accurate data entry.
7. Assist Manager, Accounting, Senior Accountant, and Staff Accountant with ad hoc general accounting and administrative tasks as required.
8. Process grant cost transfer and scan entries. Assist with other routine grant tasks as needed.

Qualifying candidates are students in high school (16 years or older before their start date AND going into 11th or 12th grade) or college students (undergraduate only and cannot be graduating Spring or Summer 2025).

Individual must be currently enrolled in a high school education program or equivalent at the junior or senior level or a current undergraduate student.

No experience is required.
