The Psychology Associate II will provide clinical services, supervision, and case management for outpatient cases as specified department leadership, and will collaborate with department staff/supervisors and other Institute departments as needed. The incumbent will participate in hiring, supervising, and the evaluating Behavioral Psychology staff and practicum students, and will participate in programs of systematic research.
1. Provide clinical services to include developing and implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and maintaining patient files through
timely documentation.
2. Provide clinical supervision and case management of outpatients.
3. Provide supportive clinical services to families of outpatients.
4. Participate in research projects involving the assessment and treatment of behavior disorders.
5. Participate in hiring, supervising, and evaluating Behavioral Psychology staff for the Neurobehavioral Unit Outpatient program.
6. Provide supervision and training for Behavioral Psychology staff.
7. Participate in administrative, clinical, and training meetings as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be approved as a Psychology Associate by the Maryland Board of Psychologists.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification preferred.
• Must possess and maintain up-to-date training/certification status in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), Behavior Management Training, and other company-provided in-service topics.
EDUCATION:
• Master’s degree in psychology required.
• Degree in applied behavior analysis is highly desirable.
EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum five years of experience in a multi-disciplinary setting dealing with children with and without disabilities required.
• Minimum two years of experience providing behavior analysis assessment and treatments required.
• Experience in conducting research and communicating research findings via professional conferences, peer reviewed journals, seminars, etc. required.
