Overview

The Clinical Specialist III will assist the Senior Behavior Analysts in providing clinical services, clinical supervision and case management for inpatient cases; participate in supervising and evaluating therapy staff; participate in programs of systematic research.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist Senior Behavior Analysts in providing clinical services, clinical supervision and case management of patients.
  2. Provide supportive clinical services to families of patients.
  3. Participate in research projects involving the assessment and treatment of behavior disorders.
  4. Participate in supervising and evaluating therapy staff.
  5. Provide supervision and training for Behavioral Psychology staff.
  6. Participate in administrative, clinical, and training meetings as necessary.
  7. Complete administrative tasks, as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, applied behavior analysis, special education, or a related discipline is required.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience conducting behavioral assessment and treatment with individuals diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities is required.
  • Experience in conducting research and communicating research findings via professional conferences, peer reviewed journals, seminars, etc. is preferred.
