Exciting CF opportunity to work with a team of supportive SLPs. Work with elementary, high school, and transitional students (up to 21 years old) with complex communication needs and significant behavioral challenges. Many AAC/AT learning opportunities. Students earn certificates of completion as they work to develop functional life skills in this collaborative and specialized interdisciplinary setting.
We are looking for part-time hours with either a Part-time Salaried Employee or a Per Diem Staff that can provide consistent support until the end of the school year or longer.
*Individual must demonstrate competence across all age groups due to the diversity of the children and families served by KKI.
· *Clinical care focus is on the neonate, pediatric, and adolescent populations, as well as some adults with disabilities.
EDUCATION:
· Must have successfully completed Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology, with related clinical requirements.
· Must have Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
· Must be have or be eligible for Maryland State Licensure in Speech Language Pathology.
EXPERIENCE:
Must have experience working with children who have communication disorders.
