Providing mental health therapy to young children. Visits might be in the community, in the clinic at Fairmount or via telehealth.The Clinical Social Worker I provides social work mental health services onsite, via telehealth, 
and/or in community-based settings to a wide range of clients from birth to adulthood. Primary clinical responsibility will be children with mental health needs as well as caregivers/parents of patients. 
The incumbent may supervise social work trainees and is responsible for providing consultation to other team members as needed

1. Provide ongoing social work mental health services to children, adolescents, adults and families utilizing a wide range of techniques to engage assigned clients.
2. Complete psychosocial assessments. Develop and update treatment plans/goals based on clinical treatment needs in collaboration with the family.
3. Initiate and maintain contact with referral sources and other community providers to assist in the coordination of services and to foster productive relationships in the community.
4. Actively participate in team conferences and meetings.
5. Provide training, and support to other team members.
6. Supervise social work trainees as assigned.
7. Meet all assigned revenue goals, and complete paperwork in a manner consistent with Institute and
8. Departmental expectations as well as guidelines established by The Joint Commission, Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners.
9. Initiate and participate in projects that contribute to the growth of the department. (e.g. groups, special projects, trainee supervision, trainings and publications).

• Must possess and maintain a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) license issued by the Maryland State Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Board of Social Work Examiners.
• Must possess and maintain cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification.

• Master’s degree from an accredited school of Social Work required.
