The Clinical Social Worker I is responsible for providing screening, intake assessment and care plan development, case management services, and short-term counseling for families served by the World of Care (WOC) daycare program at PACT. This staff member will facilitate interdisciplinary team meetings, plan/host family engagement activities, and assist with Family Studies internship experiences.

• Must be licensed in the State of Maryland, by the Board of Social Work Examiners, Maryland State Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a Licensed Certified Social Worker- Clinical (LCSW-C).
• *Individual must demonstrate competence across all age groups due to the diversity of the children and families served by the Kennedy Krieger Institute.
• *Clinical care focus is on the neonate, pediatric, and adolescent populations, as well as some adults with disabilities.

• Master's degree from an accredited school of Social Work.  

• Two years of clinical experience including at least one year in the provision of services to children, adolescents, and/or young adults with developmental disabilities, chronic health problems or disorders of the brain. This experience may have been gained while a trainee at the Institute, or a related facility.
