Overview

The Administrative Services Coordinator II will provide administrative support to the leadership team at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD). This position will support meetings, take notes, coordinate department events, schedule and onsite logistics for international and VIP patient visits. The incumbent will interface with the public and internally with other departments/programs.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide administrative support to the Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD) leadership team (i.e., Executive Director of CARD/VP, the Clinical Director, and the Medical Director of CARD). Duties include scheduling appointments, lectures, travel arrangements, and meetings.
  2. Support operational aspects of existing departmental conferences, trainings, and events.
  3. Take meeting minutes and ensure that those notes are disseminated to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
  4. Serve as a liaison with the Kennedy Krieger Institute’s international office and the department’s triage team to assist in ensuring that the clinic is appropriately prepared for the visits from international and VIP families.
  5. Provide frequent, helpful, and pleasant interactions with all families/patients.
  6. Design, implement, and manage a system for maintaining correspondence and follow-up with VIPs.
  7. Organize and prepare materials for VIP visits.
  8. Provide administrative support for tasks related to clinic, research, and training staff as needed.

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associates of Arts degree or higher degree in related field preferred.

 

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of three years administrative support experience is required, preferably within a clinical or pediatric setting.
