The Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, Maryland is searching for a talented Pediatric Physiatrist for our growing rehabilitation programs. We are seeking a board eligible and/or certified physician to provide medical care to children, adolescents, and young adults with a variety of diagnoses and impairments.
We are excited that our pediatric rehabilitation program, as part of the Johns Hopkins Rehabilitation Network, is in a period of growth and reorganization. We are looking for creative and flexible team members with interest in identifying their passion and contributing to program development. We anticipate that the Pediatric Physiatrist will have the opportunity to work in a variety of clinics and practice settings and will help develop new programs and systems of care within the Kennedy Krieger and Johns Hopkins Medicine systems.
The Pediatric Physiatrist will work closely with a variety of professionals to enhance the care and lives of individuals with apparent and non-apparent disabilities. In addition to direct patient care and teaching medical trainees, responsibilities include coordination with other disciplines at Kennedy Krieger Institute, including speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, neuropsychologists, behavioral psychologists, child psychiatrists, and social workers to ensure that each patient is comprehensively evaluated and receives the most appropriate treatment. The Institute’s academic environment also provides many opportunities for participation in clinical research and adaptive sports and recreational activities.
Qualified applicants will be eligible for faculty appointment at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine as an Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or full Professor, depending upon qualifications. Opportunities for promotion exist on Clinical Excellence and Scholarship pathways.

In compliance with the Maryland Pay Transparency act, Kennedy Krieger includes the wage range for all posted jobs. These ranges are based upon the American Academy of Medical Colleges (AAMC) scales and represent a good faith estimate of the base wage range at the time of posting. For this position, the annual wage range is $182,167 to $337,500. The actual wage will be influenced by factors such as faculty appointments, credentials, research experience, and specific expertise. This wage range does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation which may be eligible for this position.
