Overview

The Research Coordinator will recruit and onboard research participants, new staff, and trainees. This position will serve as the main point of contact for project-related inquiries both outside and within the Institute. This staff member works directly with stakeholders, grant collaborators, community partners, and research staff to accomplish the goals of given research project(s). The incumbent will monitor systems and processes; provide updates; ensure data accuracy; support the training functions; and assist in the preparation of grant submissions and progress reports.

Responsibilities

  1. Recruit, onboard, train, and complete administrative requirements for research participants, new research staff, and trainees.
  2. Participate in the development of research and project protocols and procedures, including recruitment materials, interviews, and surveys.
  3. Continuously monitor systems, processes, and project protocols for specific projects/studies to ensure that requirements are met, confidentiality is maintained, the consent processes is followed, and the data are accurate.
  4. Ensure the accurate and timely collection of all study and project related data.
  5. Assist in preparing and submitting research manuscripts, grants, progress reports, presentations, and posters for publication/presentation.
  6. Assist in developing online training and training materials.
  7. Assist in data collection and organization associated with research visits.
  8. Maintain databases and compile datasets and queries to research staff and collaborators.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with targeted population groups and organizations.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree is required.

 

EXPERIENCE:

Must have two years of related research or clinical experience.
