We are in search of a mission driven Programmer/Analyst to provide technical assistance to the Behavioral Psychology Department for database development and maintenance; assist staff with their technology needs including programming for projects and troubleshooting hardware and software problems, etc. The Programmer/Analyst will provide staff and parent training on technology and software implemented by the Department of Behavioral Psychology as it relates to patient treatment protocols and outcome assessments, and will monitor the effectiveness and implementation of new and ongoing technology resources within the department.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and will be proficient with Microsoft programs and versed in various programming approaches including B DataPro and Visual Basic. Also, experience with additional programming languages such as Java, C++, HTML is highly desired.  Experience with statistical analysis programs such as SPSS/STATA is also strongly preferred.

1. Develop, create and maintain data collection and analysis systems for staff (eg: user friendly web/form applications) to improve productivity, data quality and efficiency.  
2. Modify existing data collection systems as needed for research, patient treatments and outcome assessments (eg: improve system design; perform data integration processes) to provide accurate management reports.
3. Participate in the development of new projects: identify appropriate software and how it can best be used to serve the needs of the program(s). Write, modify and test programming.
4. Generate documentation for programs currently in use in the department including training manuals/guides for staff and caregivers.
5. Provide training for staff and caregivers on any technology used as part of patient treatments.   Train staff on the implementation of new software and technology as it relates to their specific clinic responsibilities.
6. Review, install and maintain computer software and hardware as necessary. Research and recommend programming and software to provide optimal, cost-effective technology solutions to improve efficiency and functionality.
7. Initiate and maintain contact with KKI Information Systems department as needed to facilitate the development or maintenance of assigned projects.
8. Maintain accurate records of technology resources in use within the department. Provide timely reports on the status of assigned projects.
