the Care Center Specialist I performs front end clinical operation activities which include, but are not limited to: scheduling, registration, cashiering, charge entry, and routine financial counseling activities. The Care Center Specialist I will interact with patients, families, clinicians, and administrative staff in a courteous and professional manner. Emphasis is placed on adhering to high standards of customer service. Job functions and activities are periodically measured for adherence to quality and competency standards.
Shift: 20 hours total; Monday through Friday 10 am to 2 pm
High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree in Human Services related field or health care administration preferred.
At least one year experience coordinating and operating patient services systems. Experience with computer based registration, scheduling and charge entry systems.
