    We are seeking an experienced clinician to participate fully in intra- and interdisciplinary activities in the care of children and adults with developmental disabilities, including opportunities in training and research. 


    • Responsible for at least one major clinical component of the Nutrition Department.
    • Provides comprehensive inpatient/outpatient nutrition services, which include diagnostic nutrition assessment, intervention, monitoring, and patient/family counseling/education.
    • Effectively functions within an interdisciplinary team.
    • Participates in intradisciplinary and interdisciplinary activities including patient care, training and research.
    • Identifies disease-specific factors that may influence nutrition assessment
    • Provide care that respects patient/family, cultural, social, and spiritual values.
    • Provides care in a manner that incorporates family participation in developing care plans, making sure to identify and address concerns of the client/family, strengths and needs, and team objectives.
    • Participates in planning and execution of programs for personal professional growth and development.
    • Develops models for the delivery and evaluation of services, or plans and conducts research activities within specialty area.
    • Research, review, and interpret literature related to certification/specialty area and disseminates that knowledge to internal and external audiences through formal and informal presentations and training.

    • Master’s degree in Nutrition required
    • Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
    • Must be licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist in the State of Maryland or licensure-eligible
    • Active Specialty Certification: CSP or CNSC preferred



    Minimum of four years licensed experience, at least three of which must be in a documented specialty area.
