Overview

The Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, Maryland is searching for Board eligible and/or certified in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities or Developmental and Behavioral Pediatricians as faculty in the Center for Development and Learning. The Center for Development and Learning provides diagnostic evaluations and management of children and young adults who have problems in language development, attention, learning, behavior or school adjustment.

The faculty member will participate in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary clinical team of professionals that oversee the clinical, training and research segments of the Center. Responsibilities, in addition to direct patient care and teaching medical trainees, are coordination with other disciplines at Kennedy Krieger Institute, including speech and language pathologists, neuropsychologists, behavioral psychologists, child psychiatrists, neurogeneticists, genetic counselors, and social workers to ensure that each patient is comprehensively evaluated and received the most appropriate treatment.

Qualifications

Qualified applicants will be eligible for faculty appointment at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine as an Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or full Professor, depending upon qualifications. 

Excellent salary and full benefits are offered, including partial college tuition remission for faculty member dependents (at any college) and tuition remission for faculty members, spouses and dependents for course work performed at the Johns Hopkins University and the Peabody Music Institute.
