the Supervisor, Systems Training will develop and maintain the training, as well as facilitate training.  The Supervisor, Systems Training works with the project team members to develop and implement conversion and ongoing training for each application/program. The Supervisor, Systems Training works with specialty champions to develops training for applications for physician training.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop role-based training content, independently or with team members, using a variety of software programs, tools, and applications.
  2. Design, develop and maintain instructional materials including consulting with subject matter experts and learning new content. Incorporate feedback into training and training administration procedures. 
  3. Prepare pre and post conversion training lessons, printing materials, and setting up the training room and environment prior to the training session.
  4. Assist with building and testing of training environments, providing support, and troubleshooting issues.
  5. Supervises training team members including but not limited to recruiting, performance management, progressive discipline, and termination.
  6. Facilitate and co-facilitate classroom instruction and study halls in collaboration with other trainers and assists with exercises as needed. Support trainees outside of the classroom.
  7. Train and credential additional classroom trainers and serve as an expert educator to internal staff.
  8. Train staff and end users by teaching technical topics in addition to conversion training as needed.
  9. Maintain policy and procedure documentation.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 or more years’ experience in Instructional Design.
  • Experience in healthcare or healthcare operations preferred
