the Project Coordinator is responsible for initiating, planning, organizing, and communicating, Epic implementation projects in relation to stated project objectives and outcomes. Additionally, the project coordinator monitors progress against timelines and milestones to ensure that the full implementation life cycle is conducted in a disciplined, well-managed and consistent manner.   The Project Coordinator will organize a successful testing phase, communicating testing progress with project managers and leadership, and general project coordination.

Responsibilities

  1. Disseminates project plans and coordinates multiple aspects of the project to include: coordinating schedules, arranging internal and external meetings, maintaining departmental files, creating and/or maintaining databases, implementing tracking systems, participating in the management of information, and generating reports.
  2. Coordinates and participates in application testing and integrated testing efforts including coordinating staff, determining required testing resources, selecting necessary testing tools, securing facilities and equipment for testing, and preparing the organization to successfully test changes to the live system.
  3. Works closely with cross functional teams to ensure seamless communication and facilitate optimal collaboration amongst function.     
  4. Provides coordination across departments to obtain resources, onboard new employees, solve administrative and compliance problems, and facilitate ongoing business operations.
  5. Takes notes and meeting minutes to disseminate to team members ensuring awareness of deliverables, timelines, and changes to priorities and project plans.
  6. Purchases supplies, enters invoices, and works on special projects

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 years related experience required.
  • Experience with project management or coordination required.
  • Experience with technology or healthcare preferred.
  • Existing knowledge of organizational culture, personnel, and processes is preferred but not required.
