the Psychology Associate will help implement various ongoing pediatric studies, including recruiting, screening, scheduling, and testing children with ADHD, Autism spectrum disorders, and Tourette syndrome.

Responsibilities

  1. Administer and score of a variety of diagnostic, cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessment instruments as well as experimental measures adhering to study protocols and IRB requirements.
  2. Administer ADOS assessment in research reliable fashion
  3. Prepare reports describing research participant’s performance on standardized and experimental assessments administered as part of research protocols.
  4. Assist with the coordination and communications of research projects in accordance with the funding agency’s award statement, including the recruitment of participants, and implementation of all aspects of study protocols.
  5. Develop a recruitment strategy including identifying new sources of participant recruitment
  6. Design databases and implement database design changes.
  7. Organize and maintain participant records to ensure accessibility and completion, as well as compliance with IRB standards.
  8. Assist with or lead efforts to revise IRB protocols and to submit data to repositories in a manner consistent with relevant requirements.
  9. Actively participate in project meetings involving, but not limited to, grant preparation, manuscript preparation, quality control issues, and protocol development or revision.
  10. Be responsible for accurately coding, verifying, and entering research data
  11. Assist with or lead EEG data collection.
  12. Actively participate in manuscript and grant (and other written research documents) preparation including, but not limited to, formulating ideas, conducting literature searches, performing data analyses, and assisting in the writing of the manuscript.
  13. Train and oversee staff, students, and volunteers on all aspects of study protocols.

Qualifications

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Approval by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists as a Psychology Associate.
  • Experience or background in administration and scoring of educational and other behavioral tests.
  • Research reliable in ADOS administration, preferred

.

 

EDUCATION:

  • Master’s degree in Psychology required.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Some previous experience with pediatric populations required.
