the Digital Production Specialist supports External Relations in the development a collection of compelling digital assets created for multimedia which includes but is not limited to websites, social media, video outlets and more. The incumbent is responsible for having a creative and strategic vision for creating deliverables that engage audiences and tell the story of the Institute. This staff member is a story teller first and is skilled in using video and other mediums to support multichannel marketing campaign strategies.


  1. Create and develop multimedia (video/audio, Infographics) content for stories, internal company announcements, external promotional social videos, product marketing videos, recruiting videos, corporate training and other enterprise-wide projects.
  2. Create and edit visually appealing content types to be used on the web, social media and in digital marketing through graphic design.
  3. Edit existing videos, and other media types including design files in order to leverage them within multichannel marketing plans.
  4. Script, storyboard, budget, allocate resources, set deadlines and select optimal forms of media for projects.
  5. Work independently, as well as part of a team to establish project deliverables.
  6. Collaborate closely with internal clients and stakeholders to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content.
  7. Plan video shoots; scout, select and reserve shoot locations.
  8. Develop production schedules.
  9. Manage and maintain/optimize digital asset and database video library. Edit and tag photos for various uses.
  10. Evaluate and report on analytics.
  11. Design and produce visual elements for a variety of media—Infographics, website promos, social media memes, direct marketing (email and print), email content/mastheads/footers, etc.
  12. Edit and produce short-form videos for social media, websites (including intranet), Office of Philanthropy, and Marketing email content.



  • Bachelor’s degree in digital design, multimedia, advertising, fine arts or related field of study required.
  • Master’s degree in related field is preferred.



  • A minimum of four years of professional video/audio production experience and proficiency with creating content through solid editorial programming in online environments required.
  • Experience with digital asset management systems required.
  • Experience in a non-profit or health care related environment a plus.
