This staff member supports classroom and Mental Health/Clinical staff. Under the supervision of the Manager of Behavioral Services, Dean of Students, Clinical Director, or Educational Director, the Behavior Resource Specialist II will serve as case manager for the behavioral programming of individual students. A primary responsibility is the development and implementation of Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIP). The Behavior Resource Specialist II will provide documentation of the BIP as well as conduct and document a Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA). This staff member will also monitor the efficacy of the BIP through data collection and graphing. Additional responsibilities include the development and implementation of crisis management procedures and the provision of behavioral support in the classroom. As assigned, the Behavior Resource Specialist II may also provide support and guidance to Therapeutic Behavioral Aide (TBA) staff and/or fieldwork supervision to individuals seeking BCBA supervision.
